I'm honored and humbled
My Genealogy Family History Writing teacher, Sharon DeBartolo Carmack encouraged me to submit a "How-To" essay about researching Colorado Mining records to the Colorado Genealogical Society Quarterly, The Colorado Genealogist. To my absolute surprise they put it in their next issue as the cover story.
So I can say that "I'm published!" Wow. This is a huge honor for me. It came totally out of the blue.
So what does that mean for me? I'm telling myself to just keep on trucking. This genealogy bug is now moving from "hobby" to actually a serious business path.
Thank you to everyone out there who've given me encouragement.
